Charlie Buffington ChFC®, CFP®
Charlie Buffington has been providing sound financial advice to his clients since 1989. He graduated with BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia in 1973. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and Chartered Financial Consultant® designation.
Charlie began his career with Peachtree Planning Corporation in 2004, after practicing with Allmerica Financial and Lincoln Financial Group for several years. Charlie works in the Atlanta/Buckhead office. He advises his clients on a variety of financial matters including retirement planning, investment planning and risk management. Charlie develops strategies to help individuals, families and businesses reach financial security as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Charlie lives in Brookhaven with his wife Donna and son Brad. Active in his community, Charlie is a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church, the board of directors of the Brookhaven Club Neighborhood Association and the Hampton Hall Swim and Tennis Club. He is also a member of the Georgia chapter of the Financial Planning Association. In his leisure, Charlie enjoys golf, reading and traveling.
