Kevin Mitchell was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and is an alumnus of The Lovett School. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Mississippi. Kevin joined Peachtree Planning Corporation in 2011 after having begun his career at New England Financial/MetLife.

Kevin currently works at Peachtree Planning of Tennessee's corporate office in Nashville and will also be working some in the Atlanta corporate headquarters. The focus of his practice lies in assisting his clients to simplify their complex financial environments, allowing them to take control of their futures from a pro-active perspective. His greatest skill is the ability to relate, understand and identify each client's unique values and concerns through an exhaustive audit of their financial picture. Alongside his team in Nashville, he advises his clients on a variety of financial matters including economic considerations, retirement planning, and risk management. The benefit to his clients is that they leave his process with more confidence and clarity on the decisions they have made in respect to their overall strategy and truly understanding the why. This is evident in his planning process rather than just needs-based planning.

Kevin lives in the Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville where he is active in his community and attends West End Community Church. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling, exercise, and family.
