Don joined Peachtree Planning in early 2013 after a 20 plus year career in the life and health insurance industry. Don brought his many years of leadership and management experiences to Peachtree Planning and has become a valuable contributor to the firm. Don grew up in Seattle, Washington, graduated from Western Washington University with a Marketing and Finance degree, and has lived in Arizona, Alaska, Washington, and California before transferring to the Birmingham area in 2007 to create a new Region in the Health insurance field.
After quickly building a team into a successful team achieving sales in excess of 3 million a year, the health insurance market radically shifted due to National health care laws passing in 2010, eventually destroying the nation’s 6th largest industry. Wanting to remain in financial and insurance arena, Don chose Peachtree Planning after being offered numerous positions with different national companies.
Don’s has a special needs son, Russell, who lives in Pennsylvania with his mother, but Don is able to visit him frequently.
Dons’ mother, sisters and relatives still living in the Seattle area. Don enjoys golfing, fishing, reading, and, like everyone else in the south, college football. Today, Peachtree Planning is recognized as one of the premier organizations in the country focusing on providing winning financial strategies for its individual and business clients.
