Ted Hussey

For eight years my clients have chosen to work with me because of my integrity, courage and creativity. What this means is that I have devised plans to help allow them to achieve their dreams, showed them ways that money works that they have not seen before and provided simple strategies to complex problems. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Yale and a Master’s Degree in Business Finance from George Washington University. After graduating from Yale, I served in six submarines, five of them nuclear-powered, culminating in command of USS SNOOK (SSN-592). After retiring from the Navy, I was an engineering manager for a consulting firm, and then worked for Bechtel at several nuclear power plants and at Savannah River Site as a Project Engineer.

I have been providing sound financial advice to my clients since I joined Peachtree Planning Corporation in 1999, a privately owned firm established in 1987, headquartered in Atlanta with over 100 representatives in more that 20 offices throughout Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. I was awarded the Lyle Cup as best new account executive by Peachtree Planning and have earned membership in the Guardian Leaders Club.

I provide my clients with personalized information, strategies and knowledge to help them achieve their maximum financial potential. My commitment is to achieve these goals without sacrificing current lifestyle and with no additional out-of-pocket costs. I develop strategies to help individuals, families and businesses reach financial security as efficiently and effectively as possible. I am a Registered Representative of Park Avenue Securities, LLC and I hold series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

I reside with my wife Nancy in Martinez, Georgia. Our two children and four grandchildren live in Southern California. I am a graduate of Leadership Augusta, and have been Chairman of the Board of Leadership Augusta and of the Golden Harvest Food Bank. I now serve on the Boards of Directors of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club of Augusta and Leadership Augusta. I have been very active in six Episcopal Churches over the past 44 years, and now serve as a Lay Minister and on the Endowment Committee of Saint Paul’s in Augusta. I received the Community Service Award from the Savannah River Site in 1996.
