t Peachtree Planning, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s part of who we are. As we look ahead in 2026, we’re proud to reflect on the continued impact of our team’s involvement in the Pound the Pavement for Peter 5K Family Fun Run.
What began in 2009 as a heartfelt initiative by “Peter’s Pals” has grown into a powerful movement. The event honors the life of Peter Hopkins, whose courageous battle with a Peroxisomal Disorder (PBD) continues to inspire hope, resilience, and action. His legacy lives on through every step taken and every dollar raised.
In 2026, more than 650 participants came together in support of families and children facing disabilities and life-altering diseases. Thanks to this incredible community, over $200,000 was raised—contributing to a remarkable milestone of more than $2.2 million since the event began.
But beyond the numbers, what truly stands out is the spirit behind the event. It’s families supporting one another. It’s communities rallying together. It’s a shared commitment to ensuring that every child has access to the care, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
We are deeply grateful to our Peachtree Planning team and everyone who participated, donated, and supported this meaningful cause. Your generosity continues to create real impact in the lives of so many.
As we move through 2026, we look forward to continuing this tradition—honoring Peter’s legacy, strengthening our community, and making a difference together.
