Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible Peachtree Planning team who supported and participated in the 2025 Pound the Pavement for Peter! Your dedication and generosity make a meaningful impact, and we are proud to stand alongside you in supporting this important cause.
The 5K Family Fun Run, started in 2009 by "Peter's Pals," honors the memory of Peter Hopkins, who courageously battled a Peroxisomal Disorder (PBD). Despite facing immense challenges, Peter’s life continues to inspire hope and action. His legacy lives on through this annual event, which raises vital awareness and funds for families and children affected by disabilities and debilitating diseases.
This year’s event brought together over 600 participants, united by a shared commitment to making a difference. Together, we helped raise more than $215,000, contributing to an astounding total of over $2.2 million since the event’s inception.
At Peachtree Planning, we believe in the power of community and giving back. Being part of Pound the Pavement for Peter is more than just running a race—it’s about honoring a legacy, supporting families in need, and working towards a future where every child has access to the care and resources they deserve.
Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and showed up to support this cause. Your kindness and generosity continue to make an incredible impact. We look forward to lacing up our running shoes again next year!
