Peachtree Planning recognized as a Best Places To Work in 2025 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle

August 28, 2025

Peachtree Planning is proud to be recognized as a 2025 Best Places to Work in the Medium Category! Thank you to our amazing team and the Atlanta Business Chronicle for this recognition! We are honored, once again, to be recognized for our strong commitment to creating a positive work environment which fosters respect, comfort and engagement of its team members.

Peachtree Planning was honored on Aug. 28 at Atlanta Business Chronicle's Healthiest Employers + Best Places to Work Awards, highlighting local employers that have gone above and beyond to create an outstanding workplace culture. Peachtree Planning placed No. 2 in the Chronicle's Best Places to Work Awards in the medium companies category, 50 to 99 employees.

Peachtree Planning Corp., a wealth management and financial advisory firm, is in the business of serving people.

“That starts from within,” according to Peachtree Planning’s Best Places to Work nomination survey. “We foster a culture of open communication, consistent feedback and shared growth through regular reviews; collaborative team planning; and a constant focus on strengthening our firm, culture and morale.”

An umbrella organization under which roughly 125 advisors in five states (over 50 of them in Atlanta) operate, Peachtree Planning has a growth mindset, said James Gnefkow, president at Peachtree Planning. “Growth in our people, growth in their abilities [and] growth in our locations,” he continued. “When we say our people are our most important asset, it's not lip service."

When hiring, the firm casts a wide net — recent college graduates, experienced advisors, and people who want “to take control of their own financial destiny and to do good work to help other people,” Gnefkow said.

“I am occasionally approached by other organizations to consider working for them. I can't think of a single reason to leave my current organization,” wrote a Peachtree Planning employee in the Best Places to Work survey. This year, Peachtree Planning earned the No. 2 spot in the medium company category.

The firm is proud of its diversity efforts as well as its ability to meet clients where they are — not only those individuals who are considered upper income — Gnefkow said. Peachtree Planning “is a firm that will meet people wherever they are and help them get clarity on where they want to be,” he continued.

Founded in 1987 with the mission of empowering people to create generational impact, Peachtree Planning works with more than 30,000 clients.
