Andy enjoys helping people, whether serving as their financial professional or installing a new faucet in their kitchen. With a family of six he can easily relate to the challenges faced by families trying to run a household and plan for future uncertainty. It is this perspective that enables him to ask the right questions of his clients and subsequently develop the proper strategy to meet their specific goals.
Born and raised in the Birmingham area, Andy attended UAB earning a BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering and followed that with a Master’s in Business Administration from Auburn University. He spent 5 years in electrical equipment sales before working for a local electric utility for 12 years. It was while working at this utility that Andy built his financial analysis skillset and realized he could combine these skills with his passion for helping people, so he made the career switch to the financial services industry.
Andy and his wife Dawn have four children, two in grade school and twins in preschool. Their older daughters are competitive swimmers, with the oldest competing at local, state, and southeast championship levels. Andy is an advocate for the sport of swimming in Birmingham. He is actively involved in his oldest daughter’s club team, Birmingham Swim League (BSL), his middle daughter’s club team, Magic City Aquatic League (MCAL), and their summer team, the Brook Highland Racquet Club (BHRC) Marlins. He is working towards becoming a certified USA Swimming official and is a board member for the Jefferson Shelby Swim Council (JSSC) summer league. Andy also enjoys collegiate sports, weightlifting, auto restoration, and home improvement projects.
His office is located at 3500 Blue Lake Drive, Suite 220, Birmingham, AL 35243. The phone number is 205.335.2799 and his email address is email@example.com.
