Garrett Williamson, CFP®
At an early age, my parents encouraged me to learn about the value of money. Initially, this entailed doing small chores and helping my neighbors. I remember clearly the first time I had saved up money to buy a toy I wanted and was so excited that I had the power to obtain something I had waited so long for. What I didn’t yet know was the amount of stress the lack of money can bring and how freeing it can be when proper money management is followed.
As I grew, I began to learn the costs of money mismanagement and made it my mission to gain deep understanding of personal finance so I could help empower myself and others control their financial lives. While going to college, seeking finance as my major, I became a Teller, then a Personal Banker, for Wells Fargo Bank to help others manage their finances and present ways they can be financially successful. During this time, I was recognized several times for being part of the top 10% of employees in Minnesota in customer experience performance and lending sales. In 2019, I took the opportunity of Sr. Client Service Strategist with Integrated Equity Management where I learned complex financial planning and asset management strategies and acquired my Series 7 and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Now as a Financial Advisor, I work with clients who are looking to build security, wealth, and legacy in their financial lives through sound planning. I take pride in educating and assisting my client’s financial picture of budgeting, insurance coverage, savings planning, investment management, income planning, estate planning, and business finances.
I graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, double-majoring in Finance and Business Management and have achieved my Series 6, 63, 65, & 7 FINRA licenses in addition to being a Life, Variable Life, Annuity, and Health insurance agent. My wife Abbey and I live in Nashville with our French Bulldog Roman. We love being out in nature and frequently take walks, hikes, and mountain bike rides. I have a strong affinity to cars and motorcycles and enjoy working on my inherited 1976 GMC truck.
