Gene is a Senior Partner with Peachtree Planning and has conducted numerous seminars, conferences and workshops for business, civic and church groups on finances, taxes, investment strategies, and employee benefits. He has also done extensive work with charitable organizations, providing tax strategies and in-depth financial plans and has been recognized for several years in Atlanta Magazine as one of their Five Star Wealth Managers.
A cum laude graduate of Auburn University, Gene and his wife, Nanci live in Cartersville. They have two sons, Stephen and Phillip and are the proud grandparents of Martha Kay, Sam, and Seth. Active in his community, Gene is a member of the Bartow Rotary Club, past Chairman of the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce, past Chairman of the Board for the Etowah Education Foundation, past President of the Cartersville Little League, church elder, and serves on the board for the Northwest Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts.
