Sam is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and received his MBA from Georgia State University in Accounting and Finance. He has been a CPA* since 1986 and he is also a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®.
Sam joined Peachtree Planning in 2003 after being with The Coca-Cola Company for 23 years. His last position with the company was Controller, Coca-Cola North America Customer Marketing. During Sam’s career in accounting and finance, he learned to listen to clients’ needs, analyze situations, recommend solutions, and solve problems. Sam develops strategies to help individuals, families and businesses reach financial confidence as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Sam lives in Fairhope, Alabama with his wife, Pam. They have a daughter, Lindsey, a son-in-law, Drew, and 2 grandchildren in Fairhope. Active in his community, Sam is a leader in his church, First Baptist Fairhope, as a teacher, and a leader in Community Bible Study as an Area Director. Sam was the CBS Teaching Director in Dothan, Alabama for 14 years. Sam continues to maintain his office in Dothan, Alabama, where he periodically meets with clients.
